| Galaxy Note 8: launched earlier but without Android O? |
While Samsung Galaxy S8 is selling well , Sansung would be working on its next phablette, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which is to succeed the infamous Note 7. The latter was at the center of the explosion scandal linked to a Design problem at the battery level.
To restart the Galaxy Note range, Samsung must forget the failure of Note 7 and count on Note 8 to achieve it.
Galaxy Note 8 tested ... Android 7 Nougat?
The Dutch Galaxy Club site would have obtained some interesting information about the next Samsung philette, the Galaxy Note 8 . Tests are underway at Samsung, which would predict a near release for the new model ; These tests are indeed conducted on Android 7.1.1, according to information from Galaxy Club, or Android Nougat.
The information is of size: the public beta of Android O, Android 8, is available since May 2017. Samsung could easily carry out its tests on the new OS of Google. The choice to carry them on the previous version of Android is therefore strategic: the beta of Android O will only end at the end of summer and an official launch date has not been announced.
