- Right-click on the external device and choose Format ...
- Choose File System , the Quick Format check box must remain checked , give it a name if you wish and start the procedure by clicking on Start.
A message will warn you that the formatting is in good order and at the end.
Format usb Drive On MacOSX:
- Select your disk in the left column and choose the Erase tab , then the desired format (MS-DOS = Fat32 on a Mac) and a name. Confirm with Erase in the lower right.
- Once formatting is complete, you can reintegrate your data and use your hard drive or USB stick.
